Welcome to Unlock.events. By participating in our events as an attendee, sponsor, or exhibitor, you agree to the following terms and conditions. These terms are designed to ensure a smooth and professional experience for all parties involved.

1. General Information

1.1 Unlock.events is operated by The Unlock Company DMCC, offering conferences, roundtables, webinars, and other events related to Web3 and traditional finance.
1.2 These terms apply to all attendees, sponsors, and exhibitors who register or sign agreements for events hosted by Unlock.events.

2. Terms for Attendees

2.1 Registration and Payment

2.1.1 All registrations must be completed through the official Unlock.events website or authorized channels.
2.1.2 Payment of attendance fees confirms your registration and acceptance of these terms.
2.1.3 All payments must be made in full at the time of registration, unless otherwise stated.

2.2 Cancellation by Attendees

2.2.1 If you wish to cancel your attendance, you must notify us in writing at [Support(at)Unlock.events].
2.2.2 Refund policy:

• Cancellation 30+ days before the event date: Full refund, minus a 10% administrative fee.
• Cancellation between 15–30 days before the event date: 50% refund.
• Cancellation less than 15 days before the event date: No refund.
  2.2.3 Refunds will be processed within 30 business days of receiving the cancellation request.

2.3 Cancellation or Postponement by Unlock.events

2.3.1 Unlock.events reserves the right to cancel, postpone, or change the location of an event at its sole discretion.
2.3.2 In the event of cancellation:

• Attendees will receive a full refund of the attendance fee.
• Unlock.events is not liable for any other costs incurred by attendees, such as travel or accommodation expenses.
  2.3.3 In the event of postponement or location change:
• Attendees may transfer their registration to the rescheduled date or request a full refund.

3. Terms for Sponsors and Exhibitors

3.1 Sponsorship and Exhibitor Agreements

3.1.1 Sponsorship and exhibitor benefits commence upon the signing of the agreement, regardless of payment status.
3.1.2 Specific benefits and deliverables will be outlined in the sponsorship/exhibitor agreement.

3.2 Payment Terms

3.2.1 Full payment is required by the deadline specified in the agreement.
3.2.2 Failure to make full payment by the deadline may result in suspension of benefits, but any mileage already gained (e.g., announcements, branding) will not be reimbursed.

3.3 Cancellation by Sponsors or Exhibitors

3.3.1 Sponsors and exhibitors may not cancel their participation once their benefits (e.g., announcements, branding, promotions) have commenced.
3.3.2 In exceptional cases where cancellation is unavoidable, sponsors must notify Unlock.events in writing. Refunds are subject to:

• If no public benefits have been provided: A refund may be issued, minus a 10% administrative fee.
• If benefits have already been delivered: No refunds will be provided.

3.4 Cancellation, Postponement, or Changes by Unlock.events

3.4.1 In the event of cancellation:

• Sponsors and exhibitors will receive a full refund of their fees.
• Unlock.events is not liable for other costs incurred, such as booth preparation or travel expenses.
  3.4.2 In the event of postponement or location change:
• Sponsorship/exhibitor agreements will be honored for the new date/location.

3.5 Booth/Exhibitor Space (if applicable)

3.5.1 Booth allocation will be determined by Unlock.events and communicated in advance.
3.5.2 Exhibitors must adhere to venue rules and ensure their setup does not cause damage or disruption.

4. Event Modifications

4.1 Unlock.events reserves the right to modify the event agenda, speakers, venue layout, and other details without prior notice.
4.2 Such modifications do not entitle attendees, sponsors, or exhibitors to refunds or adjustments unless directly impacting agreed sponsorship deliverables.

5. Liability and Indemnification

5.1 Unlock.events is not responsible for any personal injury, loss, or damage to personal property occurring during the event.
5.2 Sponsors and exhibitors agree to indemnify Unlock.events against any claims, damages, or losses arising from their participation.
5.3 Attendees, sponsors, and exhibitors participate in events at their own risk.

6. Governing Law

6.1 These terms and conditions are governed by the UAE laws and Dubai Courts.
6.2 Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of Dubai Courts.
